How do I take a good photo of my receipt?
Follow these tips to ensure we get a good quality photo of your receipt that ensures your claim is approved as quickly as possible.
Place your receipt on a flat surface and make sure there are no folds or creases.
Ensure that all 4 corners and edges of your receipt are visible in the photo.
Make sure nothing is obstructing the view of the receipt (e.g. fingers holding the receipt).
Take your photo of the receipt from directly above it - avoid taking it from an angle.
Take your photo in a well lit area and avoid shadows being cast on the receipt.
Make sure your camera is in focus and the correct orientation before taking your photo.
Only one receipt should be visible in each photo.
I'm uploading a receipt that has multiple pages. How do I upload all of the pages?
After pressing 'Scan Receipt' start by taking a photo of the first page. You'll then be prompted to add any additional pages to your claim. Once all of the pages are captured, you can then choose to submit your claim.
How do I upload a photo of my receipt that I have already taken?
After pressing 'Scan Receipt', you will be given the option to either take a new photo or to upload a photo that you have already taken by selecting it from your devices camera roll or file browser.
What kind of formats can I upload my receipt in?
We support uploading receipts in JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, SVG or PDF formats.
When will my receipt submission be approved?
Most receipt submissions are processed automatically, but there may be occasions where we need to manually review your submission. Typically this is done within 72 hours of the time you submitted your receipt.
